humansinfashion:

Chaos is the only way to describe what happens when Anna Dello Russo steps onto the scene.

The “rat pack” of photographers outside the Chanel Fall-Winter ‘13/’14 Haute Couture show was so focused on Anna that I didn’t stand a chance to capture her entire look, so I went for the details instead. Her tweed ensemble is a Chanel classic but the short skirt and trendy high-top heels kept the outfit decidedly modern, though I must say this is one of Anna’s tamest moments in fashion. Yes, that’s right, this is what an off day looks like for the queen of extravaganza.

FYI: Check out photo #3 for a sneak peek into the Chanel goody bag. Some savvy snooping on the internet makes it likely that ADR and other esteemed guests went home with fancy nail polish and makeup accessories. Who would say no to that?

Also just a reminder that hating on Kim Kardashian for being vapid or w/e doesn’t make you cool or edgy it just makes you hate a woman who got famous from a huge breach of her trust and instead of letting the media destroy her she turned it into millions so basically shut up

Venezuela became the first country to abolish visas for Palestinians carrying civil or diplomatic passports as part of talks this week in Caracas between representatives of the two countries. Venezuela also committed itself to build a new hospital in Palestinian territory and made new agreements in the areas of health, education and tourism.

“We’re sending the world a very important message, because from Caracas a new stage is beginning for Palestine,” said the Palestinian foreign minister, Riad-Al-Maliki.

Al-Maliki forms part of an official Palestinian delegation visiting Venezuela this week. The delegation is seeking to strengthen relations between the two countries following Palestine’s successful bid to have its diplomatic status upgraded to ‘non-observer member state’ by the United Nations General Assembly last Thursday.

Venezuela is the first country to be visited by a delegation from the new Palestinian entity, after the Chavez government showed strong support for Palestine’s UN bid and backed it during Israel’s recent “Pillar of Cloud” military assault on the country.

School is really important: Reading, writing, arithmetic. But what they tend to do is teach you reading, writing, arithmetic…then teach you reading, writing, arithmetic again. Then again, then again, just making it harder and harder just to keep you busy. And that’s where I think they messed up. There should be a class on drugs. There should be a class on sex education. No, REAL sex education class, not just pictures and illogical terms…There should be a class on scams, there should be a class on religious cults, there should be a class on police brutality, there should be a class on apartheid, there should be a class on racism in America, there should be a class on why people are hungry, but there’s not, their class is on…gym….Their class is like Algebra. we have yet to go a store and said, “Can I have X Y + 2 and give me my Y change back, thank you.” You know?…Like foreign languages. I think that they are important, but I don’t think it should be required. Actually, they should be teaching you English, and then teach you how to understand double talk, politician’s double talk. Not teaching you how to understand French and Spanish and GERMAN. When am I going to Germany? I can’t afford to pay my rent in America! How am I going to Germany?
